SATURDAY 9TH JUNE 2012 CHISLEHURST COMMON - Nr PRICKEND POND, CHISLEHURST OPEN 10am - CLOSE 4pm On Saturday 9th June 2012, the common will come alive with stalls, sideshows and entertainment. Many thanks if you have supported our event in previous years. We are always pleased to receive any comments, good or bad, that you may have on the event, particularly any ideas to improve it. Once again, the Rotary Club of Chislehurst thank you for your continuing support for which is, above all, a community event for the residents of Chislehurst and its environs. space fees A single space is 12ft wide x 15ft deep. Only spaces are provided; stallholders must provide all stalls, furniture, tenting etc. required. Space fees for 2012 are as follows:
A very few spaces are suitable for use by stalls that are wider than deep (if they will fit within 15ft wide by 12ft) please request this on your form when booking and we will try to accommodate your request. If none of these spaces is available, you will need to book 2 spaces (please indicate in "Comments" whether this is acceptable). Additional spaces are chargeable at the same rates Stallholders may be admitted on the day, subject to availability, for cash payments only, at the standard rate. Please complete and submit the booking form below to reserve your space, then make your payment for the appropriate amount to THE ROTARY CLUB OF CHISLEHURST at the address below as soon as possible. If you would like to retain your previously reserved space(s) please indicate this on the form. Please be advised that the Rotary Club of Chislehurst is insured, via Rotary In Britain and Ireland (RIBI) in respect of general risks affecting anyone taking part in or attending the Summer Fair, but this does not include cover for any accidents or damage that may happen as a result of members of the public participating in an activity being run by an individual pitch-holder. If you are in this situation you must have your own insurance and have carried out an adequate Risk Analysis. We can be legally obliged to inspect these documents, so kindly ensure that you bring them with you on the day. Erection of stalls is from 8am. If you need earlier access because of setting-up time, please contact us to make appropriate arrangements. Please note : Vehicles are only allowed on the Common land to unload and reload, except by previous arrangement (in writing). All other vehicles MUST BE OFF THE COMMON BY 9:30am latest and entry of vehicles onto the common after 9:30am MAY BE REFUSED or impossible because assembled stalls etc. block the route. There is very limited local parking on roads without cones or yellow lines (but be aware that significant congestion occurs in the area on Fair day and police may still remove cars they consider are causing an obstruction on bus routes, even if otherwise legally parked). Parking spaces (pay and display) are available in the High Street car parks (the largest one is just beyond Sainsbury's, on the right hand side. space booking form | |||||||||
